West Blalock Park is also known as the Venice Arboretum. It is home to numerous bigger than life bronze sculptures including Dorothy the Manatee, sea turtles, panthers, and more. The grounds are handicap accessible as sidewalks wind under beautiful shade trees and tropical gardens. The moment you walk through the arbors, you can feel your stress melt away. Many of the plants species are identified with bronze plaques and the butterfly garden is a popular spot to visit. This beautiful park is located on the Island of Venice.
