Sarasota County Veteran Services unit is proud to assist those men and women who have served our country ass well as their families. Their main objective is to assist with filing claims for Veteran’s benefits including medical benefits, survivor benefits, compensation for service related disabilities, pension for wartime veterans with non-service related disabilities and death benefits. They also provide county assistance for burials of unclaimed bodies and emergency hospital care for those having financial difficulty.
