Property Taxes

Florida Property Taxes are paid in arears and a discount is offered if current taxes are paid before March of the following year. Discounts are based on the POSTMARK of your payment. Tax billis are mailed out in November of each year. The following discounts apply:

4% if paid in November
3% if paid in December
2% if paid in January
1% if paid in February
Gross taxes due in March
Delinquent as of April 1st and penalties are due

If you are paying taxes on the installment plan, a different schedule applies.

YES, you can pay by charge card to maximise your credit card benefits such as frequent flyer mileage but your credit card company may charge an extra fee which can be 2.45% or more.
