The Humane Society of Sarasota County sponsored the Howl’n Halloween Canine Costume Parade in Venice, Florida. Hundreds of dogs brought their owners to the event. The dogs were dressed in costumes including Uncle Sam, jail birds, butterflies, Bob Marley, Country Dog, roosters, bumble bees, nurses, and the traditional pumpkin. Even some of the owners wore costumes. Fortunately, nobody decided to dress as a tree!
The event was held at the Centennial Park Gazebo at the 200 Park of W. Tampa Ave.
