Situated on 30 acres, the Garden Elementary campus has been completely renovated and updated.
Working with the best 21st century technology, each classroom is equipped with “ActivBoards,” interactive whiteboards for teachers to use while instructing.
Covers Kindergarten through 5th grade and has approximately 575 students with a 15:1 Student/Teacher ratio.
Among the top scoring schools in the district in 4th grade FCAT Writing. Success due largely to a custom practice program, “Garden Writes,” where students from all grade levels write monthly in response to a narrative or expository prompt similar to those used on the fourth grade test
Garden Grows Character is a school-wide character education program. Staff looks for everyday examples of students making good choices. Once a student is “caught being good,” an award slip is filled out and the child is recognized publicly as well as given a prize!
